Crystal Consulting, LLC was founded by Nancy Richardson to provide competent, litigation consulting services, paralegal assistance, and detailed technical engineering review to attorneys and corporate clients seeking cost-effective execution and coordination of their legal matters.

Ms. Richardson has over 25 years of litigation consulting experience.  As a degreed litigation consultant, trial assistant and licensed professional engineer, she is able to assist not only with routine legal matters, but also complex, unique and/or specialized legal matters.  She is  a highly organized, detail-oriented leader, dedicated to effective and efficient execution of legal tasks, focused on achieving strategic client goals.

CCLLC is dedicated to understanding the strategic results you seek to achieve and assist in evaluating specific actions that can be implemented to successfully achieve such goals.

Ms. Richardson began her career in the legal arena as a civil engineer, serving as direct assistant to lead counsel in complex corporate environmental litigation, including administrative, regulatory and appellate matters.  In this capacity, she assisted with case strategy, direct corporate client communication, expert witness preparation, trial assistance, drafting and editing of pleadings, motions, post-trial briefs and memoranda, deposition planning and assistance, and consultant coordination.  This extensive litigation experience led her seek a Masters of Legal Studies, with an emphasis in Litigation Law.

She draws upon her excellent academic education, exceptional legal mentoring, diverse experiences, and wide-ranging resources to critically evaluate fact patterns, legal scenarios, and strategic client goals.  She understands the importance of knowing and evaluating both good and bad case facts, giving thoughtful deference to all facts.  She works diligently with lead counsel, experts and team members to execute preparation of documents that present strong arguments and positive outcomes for clients.

In addition to owning her own consulting business, Ms. Richardson taught future paralegals as an adjunct instructor of Civil Litigation at a Wisconsin technical college.  From 2015 through 2021, Ms. Richardson taught a two-semester ABA approved civil litigation curriculum, introducing civil litigation procedures to paralegal students, including torts, causes of actions, pleadings, motion practice, discovery methods, settlement alternatives, witness preparation and courtroom procedures.  Her goal as an educator was not only to introduce students to civil litigation, but to encourage and inspire future paralegals to utilize their academic and critical-thinking skills to anticipate the needs of their supervising attorneys, endeavoring to seek new and thoughtful ways to be an exceptional legal assistant.
